The speech Olmert should have given
An Israeli writer imagines the speech he wishes Prime Minister Olmert would deliver. I certainly could not have written it better.

What strikes me about the proposed speech it is that it states HONESTLY what the situation is from Israel’s point of view and what Israel intends to do about with NO AMBIGUITY.
It is simple and straight forward, not a diplomatic double talk speech most politicians make which they do not believe and neither does the audience.
It is obviously what most of us wish our leaders would do!
But before lashing out against our leaders for not performing in this manner, maybe we should ask ourselves who put our leaders where they are?
