George Galloway: Last comic standing
The American right loves to work itself up into a twist over Cynthia McKinney, who is really just a buffoon who can barely hold a seat in a gerry-mandered district. We should count our blessings that we don't have to deal with George Galloway, who is without question the most articulate demagogue in the Anglo-Saxon political world. I thought that when I saw him debate Christopher Hitchens in New York last September, and my view is only reinforced by this, er, unbelievable performance on Sky News. Not surprisingly, he carries Hezbollah's flag. Behold, among other things, how he slips in the accusation that the United States has given Israel nuclear weapons and long-range missiles, and the Sky News interviewer is too flustered to call him on it.

I only listened to it once, twelve hours ago, but I recall three. First, his claim that Israel has killed 30x the civilians that Hezbollah has is probably an exaggeration by a factor of two or three. The ratio is high, but the highest I have seen is about ten times. I'm not sure it is relevant, because the difference has nothing to do with motives and everything to do with capabilities. Israel puts its people in bomb shelters, and Hezbollah has less firepower to deploy. There is no moral advantage for Hezbollah in this, though, since everybody knows that if they had more firepower they would use it.
Second, if Shebaa Farms is not legitimately Israeli it is probably Syrian. That undermines its use as a casus belli for Hez, at least if one is trying to argue that Hez and Lebanon are a unit.
On this point, by the way, Galloway tries to have his cake and eat it too. If Hez is legitimate because it is fighting Lebanon's war with the approval of the Lebanese people, as Galloway intimates, that makes it rather difficult to object to Israel's destruction of Lebanese infrastructure that could be used to support Hez's war.
Third, until now, I have never heard anybody claim that the United States had given Israel either nuclear weapons or missiles that could attack any city in the Middle East. I think he just pulled that one out of his ass.

It seems that is not enough that Israel has developed a nuclear arsenal by herself. No, even this "sin" must ultimately be an American sin.

It seems to me that some thought should be given to the Israeli dungeon meme. this is a recurring theme of the anti israeli groups so some research that would provide fact based refutation is in order.
does anyone have an good solid sources of information about the people Israel is alleged to be holding?
thanks

What's with the speaking in third person? Trying to add legitimacy to your name?
"And your third point ain't too string either - you won't doubt that there is some technology-exchange between the two of them."
The US does not make a habit of just handing out nuclear technology. To anyone. (Britain being the lone exception because they were themselves involved with the Manhattan Project) Insituating otherwise without proof doesn't make it true, it makes you a conspiracy theorist.
Militarized nuclear technology is so tightly controlled it has its own special, specific classification in the military, like CRYPTO. i.e. No one has a "need to know," ever, unless you are *specifically* authorized to work with nukes.
Ballistic Missiles either, but to my knowledge missiles don't have a special caveat.
Sorry, but when Galloway was talking all I heard was "Gyet in ma bell-aye!"
