Invasive species
There is a family of coyotes living in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. That's, like, in the shadow of the Loop.
The urban coyotes apparently arrived on their own, no doubt in search of better restaurants and a more exciting night life. The Second City Cop thinks there are other collateral benefits -- a few missing pet cats notwithstanding -- and wants to follow up with lions, and tigers, and bears.
