Where does this lead?
If this article from the Independent in the UK has any factual basis, we are moving in an inevitably very wrenching direction (HT: LGF). Without passing judgment, any serious islamic insurgency in western countries will lead inevitably to serious loss of life and massive internment. Let's hope this ain't correct folks.

Criminals. Mafioso they may be, united under a red banner of violence, but they're criminals not warriors.
Elevating their status to insurgency is as misguided as elevating the 9/11 criminals to warriors.
