The United Nations pays for anti-Israel propaganda

The United Nations derives all its legitimacy, if we may laughingly call it that, from the myth that it is an honest broker in dealings among nations. It promotes this idea by putting brutal dictatorships on its human rights commission and Syria on the Security Council. One would imagine, therefore, that it would not underwrite propaganda against a member state, but that is exactly what it has done.
The United Nations bankrolled the production of thousands of banners, bumper stickers, mugs, and T-shirts bearing the slogan "Today Gaza and Tomorrow the West Bank and Jerusalem," which have been widely distributed to Palestinian Arabs in the Gaza Strip, according to a U.N. official.

The U.N. support of the Palestinian Authority's propaganda operation in the midst of the Israeli evacuation of Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip has provoked outrage from Israeli and Jewish leaders, who are blaming Turtle Bay for propagating an inflammatory message that they say encourages Palestinian Arab violence.

The U.N., of course, is taking the position that it "gave money to the Palestinian Withdrawal Committee to 'help the Palestinian Authority communicate to the populace about the withdrawal and its economic and social impact.'" That the Palestinians used that money to claim victory in the intifada (which is the widely-understood implication of the Arabic slogan on the propaganda materials) is not, apparently, the U.N.'s responsibility.

CWCID: The Anchoress, who wonders whether the United Nations also paid for these propaganda materials (heh).

Hey,

Well, this is nothing compared to the billions that the U.S. of A. has given the Palestinian Authority over the last few years.

Or the billions given to Egypt and the Saudi's or even the millions given to other gulf states that harbor and foster Islamic Extreamists.

Take Jorden and Yeman(sp) for instance.

America's pocketbook (yours and mine) have been open for decades to people that just want to take our money and then use it against us and others.

This is not news, its just a disgrace.
