First signs of Fall

While it is hard to imagine suiting up for football practice in this unspeakable swelter, the beginning of football season is an exciting thing in a college town. In Charlottesville, there is a bit of a buzz this week, following George Welsh's induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
I picked up tickets for a couple of games, and expect to scalp at least one more game along the way. Football is just part of the rhythm of college town life, and you're just out of step if you don't follow along.
