Delusion continued

One other thought on the Democratic Party world of delusion, which may qualify as outright hallucination, and that relates to Howard Dean's recent comments on the Kelo decision by the SCOTUS. As has been widely blogged, Dean criticized the decision, and blamed it on the Conservative wing of the the SCOTUS during one of his well documented, high blood pressure rants. However, the 5-4 decision was made by the Liberal wing of the SCOTUS, with the Conservative wing in dissent. Either Dean made a tremendous mistake, which reflects utter ignorance and incompetence, or he was simply making up something controversial on the SCOTUS for a soundbite which would allow him to rail against the Conservatives on the Court during the Roberts confirmation process. The latter sounds too ridiculous to even contemplate, but the former seems equally absurd.

So which world are we in anyway? It's almost too Screwey to believe...

Remember the "Republicans want to bring back the draft" screed, when the only Congressmen who had even writen any Draft Bill were Democrats??

Oh and Kerry had some kind of Universal Service requirement for high school graduation on his website before it dissapeared.
