Rather in denial

Hugh Hewitt watched Dan Rather make a fool of himself on Larry King's show last night. Sorry I missed it.

Hewitt was too easy on Rather. Rather lied when he said the CBS report "...they could not determine that the documents were fraudulent."

The report in fact said:

"...to conclude that the Killian documents were not produced on a typewriter in the early 1970s and therefore were not authentic."

Note in the interview Rather said "...I read the report. I absorbed it."

"I absorbed it". He knew he was lying.

Don't be sorry. The reason people like Hugh exist is so that we don't HAVE to watch spectacles like that.
