VE Day: Eight cities in pictures 

Deutsche Welle has an awesome collection of photo essays up that show then-and-now pictures of the impact of World War II (and Israel's first war of independence) on cities around the world.

Greetings,
I was wondering if you uploaded that picture of the American's in Paris. My grandfather is the soldier in the front looking to the side.
My father has been searching for a copy of this picture for years.
