Great to see that certain Brits have designated themselves as the sole judges of who is right and who is wrong. Where are these Brits on the issue of the horrors that most, if not every, government of an Arab country in the Middle East commits on its own citizens? On a daily basis. Where are these Brits on the issue of the genocide against black Africans in Darfur that a Muslim government is committing? Where are these Brits on the fact that the Arab world could care less about solving the Palestinian problem, instead preferring to use it and the Israelis as a convenient diversion from the ills that gradually destroy their own countries? Where are these Brits on the abject incompetence (not to mention disingenuousness and dishonesty) of the Palestinian Authority?

Great to see that the Brits written about in this piece can honestly look at themselves in the mirror and conveniently blame the world's problems on people who either cannot or will not fight back, while pandering to a group of radicals within their country who threaten violence? It's easy to pick on a distinct religious minority and a country who has achieved more in 225 years than your country has in its 1000+ years history and is far, far away. That's really the sign of a brave, thoughtful critic, isn't it?

No one will doubt for a moment that certain Brits have always hated the Jews, and certain of the ruling classes in Britain even tried to make a separate peace with Hitler in the 1930's. But what I question now is whether these Brits will admit that the source of all of this projected enmity is that they hate what their nation has become, a diminishing influence on the world stage, and, as a result, they hate themselves because they've had a box seat to the decline and cannot be honest about it. And then, of course, they pick on convenient targets. How pathetic! If these Brits, and I hope they are in a distinct minority, are to be given any thought, they are to be pitied.

Hatred, of any sort, destroys. Before the Brits implicated in this article start hating anyone else, they should take a long, hard look in the mirror.

And I bet they won't like what they see.

That is, if they can be intellectually honest about anything.
