Los Angeles identifies another corruptor of youth
Reuters, the City of Los Angeles has passed an ordinance that restricts "'cyber cafes' and 'PC baangs' that provide five or more computers with Internet access, including those set up specifically for multiplayer PC video games." The new law restricts the hours at which minors can visit Internet cafes and play the games there.
Great idea, because it's a lot better if they're driving around in cars, hanging out at the mall, trashing the house of some family with absentee parents, taking drugs or getting into fights. We simply can't have teenagers sitting around cyber cafes playing all kinds of games and reading who knows what dangerous web content.
