Anniversary of RFK's death

Aaron's Rantblog points out that today, June 5, is also the anniversary of Robert F. Kennedy's assassination at the hands of a Palestinian terrorist on the first anniversary of the Six Day War. Is it unfair to argue that we have been fighting this war since 1968? Why has it taken so long to recognize? Via Airborne Combat Engineer.
