What would mice do without monkeys?

'Mice produce sperm from monkeys' - headline, BBC News, February 4, 2004.

Actually, the best part is that mice will start producing sperm from cats: "The Pennsylvania group will now try the procedure on testis tissue from domestic cats, as a trial for endangered big cats that rarely survive to reproductive age in captivity."

This will allow us to ask the question of the ages, "what would mice do without cats?"
