I am at Heathrow getting ready to head home, so I'll try to load you up with more exciting and thought-provoking content before I take off.
I was at Ft Bragg in 1963 for Army Reserve summer camp. I'm standing in a phone booth, talking to my wife, and looking at a poster showing a young troop's severed ring finger with tendons attached. The troop caught his ring on the side of a truck while exiting in a non-approved fashion.
