Market cap moment
When will Apple Computer be worth more than ExxonMobil?
Both companies are astonishing monuments to human imagination and enterprise.

Don't know. Like comparing an apple to an orange.
Apple's success is off the charts, and was unforeseeable even a decade ago. Which is an argument against central planning.
Together XOM and AAPL have a total market cap of about $800 billion. Were they expropriated, that'd cover about six months of USA deficits at our current run rate.
Would they be this big if their profit margins were as small as Exxon-Mobile's?
