Weather is not climate news
In the category of "weather is not climate" news that you may not see reported in the popular press, the Planet Earth just concluded its coolest March since 1994. Oh, and older, thicker Arctic sea ice (a measure of the ice cap's durability) is increasing, though still far below "baseline" levels. This continues a trend that has been in place for a couple of years, but which was masked because the government moved the goalposts back in 2009 to make it look as though Arctic ice was deteriorating when it was not.
Meanwhile, snow cover in the Northern Hemisphere remains far above normal (it has been snowing for three days in Salt Lake City, where I write this), and the Gulf of Mexico is warmer than usual. We are told they will combine for a stormy April and May.

TH, I wrote a fairly long and thoughtful response to your post on the Obama Will Lose article. I saved it in the window and got indication that it had been saved. My response has not posted. This is probably the fifth time your blog has done this in the past couple months. Very frustrating.
Are you screening comments or is Blogger eating them?
Blogger is eating them, or moving them to the Spam folder.
I have the same problem, on several blogs. Sometimes totally anonymous comments get through.

Make it a habit of CTRL-A, CTRL-C before you post anything of substance. It limits the frustration.

The comment eating issue came up several weeks ago. IN response, TH said he had loosened up the spam criteria, and I noticed that some of my disappeared comments finally appeared.
In addition to Dawnfire82's suggestions, I would also advise that if the comment is long and/or involved, to not write the comment directly at the blog. Copy and paste your comment to the blog only when you are ready.
Preview only once or twice. From having had comments eaten where I had written my comment directly on the blog and also had numerous previews, I suspect that many previews get the spam meter ticking.
Also the anonymous. Once your comment has been eaten, the spam meter considers your blog name to be mud on further comments on that thread.
I hope you have your SKIs. Get up to ALTA and SNOWBIRD!
