Favoriting the NFL

This year, of the final four NFL teams, I have a very clear sense of the exact order of my preferences to get to and win the Super Bowl. Therefore, in order: Bears, Packers, Steelers, and Jets.

How do you order the final four? Rank the teams in the comments.

Bears, Bears, Bears, & Bears

Since Obama has said he'll go to the Super Bowl if the Bears are in it, I am forced to say: Green Bay, Green Bay, Green Bay! Go Packers!

Other than that, I'll probably be rooting for Pittsburgh.

I gave up on pro football when the Colts sneaked out of Baltimore in the middle of the night. I gave up on college football when Princeton dropped the single wing.

Fortunately Chuck Weeden was my son's housemaster, Griswold, at L'ville and taught him the true game.

Jets (heart), Green Bay (soul), Steelers (old school) and lastly the 1980s, nouveau riche, Obama-town Bears.

"Jets (heart)"

Wrong body part, should be "foot".

I guess that Mojo couldn't Bear the result of the first game. :)

I don't have a dog in the hunt, as the Pats are now history.

It looks like an old-school Super Bowl with the Packers and Steelers. They are good-but-not-great teams, both building up early leads today but not able to close the deal until late in the 4th quarter. So the SB should be entertaining and competitive, providing a lot of good memories to get us through the 2011 season which will be cancelled because of the CBA strike/lockout.

Leif, I'm not a Bears fan, but how are they "nouveau riche"? Along with the Cardinals they are the oldest team in the league, predating even the Packers by a year.

Guys, listen. I’m on OUR side. I think. But Allie was questioning Cutler and than defending him against other posters. I said I do the SAME THING. My point was we can ALL be hypocritical. And we (meaning you j/k) can call people out for it. I guess I’m actually VERY upset by the way that our fans posted overall. The trolls rolled in and out and things got ugly. But let my favorites try their best to remain pure in my in game threads.
