On undeclared boycotts
It sure looks as though Harvard University is boycotting Israel. One is forced to wonder what investments Harvard has in Arab countries that deny basic civil rights that Westerners take for granted. The United Arab Emirates, for example.
UPDATE: Maybe it ain't so.

I'm hearing it's just a category shift. Israel is no longer an emerging market, it's now "developed."

Harvard will hopefully explain their reasoning, because if this is a political statement then they will rightfully be condemned for their hypocrisy, as TH is doing.

This gives me one more opportunity to push everyone to read Start Up Nation, Dan Senor's outstanding business book (that reads as easily as popular non-fiction, it's so well written) about some of the roots of Israel's economic growth over the last decade, and how some of those same principles might apply to your company, a state or our bedraggled nation.
