How is your Triathlon training going? Were you doing some research here? Good luck and have fun!!
Ws this place cool? I hope to get there someday too.

It is named Mellow Johnny's after the french for Yellow Jersey.
Bicycle Sport Shop over on Lamar and Barton Springs is better, and cheaper.
Don't forget Juan Pelota cafe at MJs (the name of which is a bastardization of "one ball" in honor of Mr. Armstrong's anatomy).
A nice place to visit but yes, expensive. Bicycle Sport Shop is a good alternative not far from downtown.

OK, but I was honest, quick (seconds), and close ... and think bike riding is among the lamest of sports.

On that last point, PD, you are just wrong. Or you are young. Not sure which.
The great thing about cycling is that it can be great fun at many levels of accomplishment, and alone or in big groups.
@Juan Pelota: So now I know why he's better than everyone else. He doesn't have to worry about crushing the family jewels every time he sits on his seat.
@PD: Why is it lame? Swimming, running, biking are all demanding sports - very demanding. You might think they are boring - I tend to think so. But some people think baseball and golf are like watching paint dry, and I find the NBA to be a little more than a bunch of overgrown pituitary cases running up and down the court every 24 seconds.
