CWCID: Glenn Reynolds.

We need a video for my wife entitled "Don't buy stuff you can afford".
She is the Queen of the yard sale, not to mention the second hand store. And, if that weren't bad enough, she goes diving in the neighbor's trash.

I'm typing on a dumpster dived computer. Its been running like a top for 5 years now. I just put a different HDD in it and it fired right up. Been the most reliable machine I've ever owned...
There's a lot of hidden gold at garage sales and such if you know what to look for.
ex. I picked up Asimov's (very rare) book on Gilbert and Sullivan at the county surplus store for $.05 and sold it on eBay for over $200.

Heck, that's nothing. I bought over $200 dollars worth of comic books as an investment in the 80s, and if I'm lucky I'll be able to sell them for $.05 at my garage sale....
Seriously if you live below your means, your means will increase. Live above your means, and you get smaller means. Its a mean fact.
