A friend, on vacation somewhere in Southeast Asia (I believe Borneo), grabbed this picture of a posted admonition. I am almost forced to wonder what, exactly, the prohibition might be.
I find it odd that you look at that picture and call the man depicted therein "fat," because there really is nothing in the drawing that suggests he is. I guess it's just an automatic association with being bald and smoking a cigar? A helpful reminder that we should all try to cleanse our perceptions of assumptions.
Compare the shape of the guys head to the circle around him. His head is round.
So there is actually something in the drawing to suggest that he is fat. Far from an "obsession" I would call it an obvious statement of fact.
