Give me 200 seconds, and I'll give you the world

My co-conspirator/troll (not on your blog but he's coming) just gulped 8 year old Jamaican rum we almost polished off tonight and said they missed this one:
Praetorian Guard: "Halt! What is the password?"
Caligula (Malcolm McDowell): "Scrotum."
Praetorian Guard: "Wrong!" [stabs Caligula]

You're making a good point there.

CC: We've actually discovered some element of common ground, and that common ground is a reference to Caligula. I'm so ashamed...
I wish they'd labeled the origin of each quotation... I didn't recognize all the films.
Pretty fun - thanks TH.
I agree with Dawnfire too - I recognized most but missed quite a few of them.
Maybe a signature silent film moment or two would've been cool also.
And of course a Marx Brothers quote.
My fave:
"I won't be insulted, I won't be wronged, I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them"
