There are signs of our awakening from the Sleep of Reason. Two reporters were all over Press Secretary Gibbs yesterday about how small $100 million is. This morning on Imus I heard an analogy to a typical family's finding one-time savings of $1.20.
... and Obama thought even the White House press corps couldn't understand the difference between a million and a billion.
We've all seen the graph of projected deficits -- Obama vs CBO. Obama projects $500 billion to $700 billion defects to the end of time. CBO has the deficit growing to over $1 trillion in under ten years. Neither case works. Without a modicum of growth, the actual numbers will be worse.
So what's Obama's real plan ...
Door #1: take a chainsaw to entitlements, or
Door #2: jack tax rates -- and brackets! -- through the roof, so that we're mostly all equal pigs, or
Door #3: declare a coup.

Anon, I want to add another door to "Obama's real plan":
Door #4: print new Obama dollar bills in the denomnation of 'one million dollars'. Of course his face would be on the bill, thus fixing at least one problem he mentioned during the campaign.
