A magazine for beta males
Totally unfair, and also funny.
I'm single, and I share the pain. All relationships involve compromise and sacrifice. It's about love, trust, balance, mutual respect and reciprocity. Right?

Dinner. Her: Steak.
Him:Steak and Potatoes.
Chicken goes better with potatos. Chicken is good, but I need a good gravy. I'm on a diet, no gravy. How about that low fat salad dressing? No taste, I need something with a taste. Vinagrette is good with chicken, but no potatoes. I'd rather have a vegetable, peas. Now broccoli is good with a chicken. Too green. Carrots. Too bright. You sure you want chicken, it won't fill you up. You're right, a nice ham would be good. I like ham. No, ham isn't good for your cholesterol. I thought we were talking about the salad dressing. On ham? On chicken. On chicken?
Eventually, they settle on a steak with potatoes. You have to learn to play the system.

With the good ones the sacrifice part comes a lot easier. You're generally happy to make the sacrifice; within reason, of course.
