Hey TH - Welcome to Chicago!

Enjoy the bar at the Hyatt (if I'm correct about the angle of that shot). How do you like the addition of the Trump Tower to the skyline?

It is the Hyatt, and I am indeed on the way to the bar. Any of you want to track me down, I'll be down there for about an hour, I think. I have an early morning in front of me.

I was in town for a trip to attend Michigan at Notre Dame football last fall. While there I took the time to visit Rev. Wright's church and drove by Barry's house. Worth the effort, easily found the addresses from Google.

What's that promenade-looking thingy at the lower right? New addition?

I love Chicago, too. Always have. The first hotel I remember staying in is about a mile up straight ahead in your line of sight in the picture, not quite within actual view perhaps.

The "promenade thingy" is the drive that goes between the Gleacher Center to the left (part of the U of C business school) and the NBC Tower to the right.

Hey, is that the Willis tower I see in the background?

You can have it. I couldn't leave behind the crooked politics of Chicago fast enough when I came of age. I come back only when business requires or to visit relatives.

Whenever I visit I think of an old Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem tune called "Dirty Old Town."
