The Stimulus.org project of the day
A couple of days I pointed you to Stimulus.org, an online project to track and sort stimulus package projects. You can "vote" on their merits, and see a comparison of the costs and jobs created. There is also a wiki where you can add facts, and "facts."
Anyway, when the spirit moves me I will point out projects for which you may vote. Today's doozy, the "Raul Alvarez Disc Golf Course."
This project will develop a 36-hole disc golf course that will be environmentally and financially sustainable.
I think that is pretty much all you need to know. Except you might not know what "disc golf" is. It seems to involve frisbees.
"Vote" here.

Since almost all provisions of the bill are designed to aid "families" like Nadya Suleman, this bill needs a name.

Yeah, Austin already has at least one frisbee golf course, down on Shoal Creek. I hate living in this leftist-infested town...

Disc Golf has been an excellent addition to my city. Hundreds of people use it, and sporting goods stores have all started carrying the gear for it. There are moneymaking tourneys and increased use of the city park. Two separate DG business have sprung up since the inauguration of our new course 18 months ago.
Just sayin'.
