Presidential approval ratings in history

Here's a nifty bunch of line graphs that show presidential approval ratings in history, including the reasons for big moves up and down. The graph at the top that compares the ratings of the presidents since Truman is also instructive, and perhaps some small comfort for George W. Bush.

It was intresting for what it didn't show. What happened to personal approval ratings vs. job approval ratings? Anybody remember that from the Clinton years? Also, what were there approval ratings after they let office?

So President George W. Bush beat Kerry in 2004 in a "close race" by 3 million votes? Whatever.

And Clinton was "Acquitted of perjury and obstruction of justice in a Senate trial"? Seems I remember him being Impeached in a House trial, with the Senate imposing a sentence that did not include removal from office. That's not Acquitted.
