New York City, this afternoon

After the TH Teenager's college interview around noon today in the lobby of the Millenium Hotel, we walked down Wall Street to the South Street Seaport. A few pictures from our stroll:

What a wonderful city!

I hope the interview yields good results. Our best wishes to your son in his quest.

An ancestor of mine, Pierre Noe, owned a farm at the corner of Wall Street and Broad back in the 1600's.

There's a plaque on the wall of the trading floor commemorating it.

Too bad your family does not still own that land.

Nor ours the Mayor's residence...

Good old Archibald Gracie. The War of 1812 did him in as surely as the Titanic did his great-grandson.
