Rough justice
Occasionally, there are applications of Islamic law that make a certain amount of sense.
A court in Iran has ruled that a man who blinded a woman with acid after she spurned his marriage proposals will also be blinded with acid.
I always wonder who carries out these Islamic sentences. Blinding somebody with acid or chopping off a limb seem much more intimate, in the most gritty sense, than executing somebody by lethal injection or even electric chair. What sort of person does that job?
CWCID: The Jungle Trader.
P.S. It occurs to me that if I were teaching a creative writing class I would tell my students to choose a freaky news story on Jungle Trader and use it as the basis for a short story. There are ideas for hundreds of strange stories and probably a couple of dozen novels in the archives of that blog.

Given that logic, the best way to handle the Gitmo "problem" is simply to throw them off of the top of a burning building....
Hey....not such a bad idea!!!
