That was kinda fun. Wouldn't have been able to do it without country/date links though. My random article was on King David of Scotland. Had to connect to the 20th century through the History of the United Kingdom, since Scotland ceased to exist as an independent power in the 18th century.

I beat it in Easy with "1947 Constitution", "World War II", "Adolf Hitler", and then I beat it on Hell with "United Nations Security Council", "Genocide", "Nuremberg Trials", "Adolf Hitler."
One could argue that "United Nations" is the worst violation of the "No countries" rule, but it's not REALLY a country.

Did it in the Hell category with:
Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy
to
MGM (Metro-Goldyn-Mayer)
to
World War II
to
Adolph Hitler
Ok, that was fun.
By Assistant Village Idiot, at Mon Nov 24, 08:58:00 PM:
Colin Renfrew, Proto-Indo-Europeans, Aryan Race, Adolph Hitler.
From today's wikipedia front page: Waitaha Penguin, Proceedings of the Royal Society, Human Biology, Freiherr von Blomberg, Adolph Hitler.
Fun!

Too easy.
The lead page (English) has this day in history - Yukio Mishima, famous Japanese right-wing author, committed suicide at the Army HQ in 1970.
Mishima leads to WWII
WWII (obviously) leads to AH.
Great game though. Reminiscent of my Nazi observation: Namely, on your 400 channels of cable, at any given time, you can always find Nazis... somewhere. (I throw WWII Pacific in with them.)
Take it out for a spin, it's 90% true.

Nicholas, ya beat me to it!
You cheated, obviously using a time machine to steal my answer!
Too easy

Random Article: List of city squares by size ----> Leipzig ----> Adolf Hitler. Fascinating. Fun game.
I clicked random article, got Lou Holtz.
The article mentioned his controversial statement about Adolf Hitler being a good leader, but it wasn't linked to the Hitler article. Thwarted...

It took me 7 clicks on "easy" starting random --> some muscle group. Rapper handles with disambiguation --> Rapper page --> country got me out of that one.
By Noumenon, at Tue Nov 25, 04:47:00 AM:
Great thread you started here, TT.

By MEANA55, at Tue Nov 25, 01:21:00 PM:
The game behind this game is that Wikipedia is going to dump their logs showing a sudden massive spike in demand for the Hitler page from IPs in the U.S., and the MSM is going to run an endless stream of stories over the holiday weekend citing this as proof positive that white supremacist extremism is running rampant in the weeks following the election.
The game is still fun, though.

In "hell mode":
McKinney Homestead
National Register of Historic Places
Liberty ship
World War II
Adolf Hitler
I've noticed a lot of these sequences have World War II as the penultimate page. Maybe we should change the "hell mode" rules to disqualify that page too.
