The jihad welcomes Obama: What will he do?
We knew this was coming. The New York Times has a good story about the uses and abuses of Tuesday's election of Barack Obama in the Arab Muslim world. Radicals throughout the region, including al Qaeda, are claiming credit for his victory, citing his Muslim roots, and looking forward to America's retreat from the region.
Lest you think otherwise, I am not arguing -- in this post, anyway -- that it was either a mistake to elect Obama or that the abuse of his victory by jihadi propagandists is any reason to think ill of our President-elect. This is, however, an entirely foreseeable geopolitical response in what has become a war of ideas. Indeed, Barack Obama recognized during the campaign that we were waging and -- he maintained -- losing a war of ideas and public relations along with the military struggle. He is right in this. Virtually all American hawks agree that the Bush administration has done a miserable job in the propaganda war. More to the point, our objection to Obama's proposal for a quick withdrawal from Iraq is founded, in part, on the view that Islamist propagandists and a hostile Western press will turn that retreat into a "defeat" that will persuade more Muslims that actual "victory" against the apostates and their Western allies is possible.
Now, even before Barack Obama puts his hand on the Bible, we see our enemies establishing the meaning of his victory in foreign lands. That raises an important question: Is Barack Obama going to concede this next battle in the propaganda war without firing a shot, or is he going to respond to these bastards and, as a bonus, reassure Americans that he will fight the long war in all its dimensions?

Obama's victory is directly traceable to massive media support. The American media, in turn, are clearly against an aggressive antiterrorist policy, primarily because they oppose George Bush.
So the claim by the Muslim "street" that Obama's victory is a victory for Jihadism is faulty logic.
The media has their darling in office now...and reality will likely make Obama continue to pursue antiterrorist policies that will be very similar to George Bush's agenda.
My prediction is that that agenda will now be supported because it will be a "fresh, new approach" by a Democrat.
Obama had his high level security briefings this week. How he got security clearance for that is amazing, but now that it has been done, I am sure that the boy wonder's head is now full of harsh reality.
It will be fun to watch the definition of "Change" change...

Obama is a multicultural and multiracial man. And becasue of this he understands comprimise and getting along. It will not be easy and it will not be immediate, but we as a world must do something about the every increasing hostility among peoples. It has been over 2000 years since the death of Jesus and we are still doing the same old things.
Why are you not listing all the countries that are celebrating the Obama victory and not just the one's we are fearful of? We must learn to get along with everyone and we as a world leader, must lead by example. Our election of Obama is the first step along those lines.
Let us as Americans stand together and show the world that we are much more than bullys, that we care, really care for others.

Why do you read the New York Times? While the subject of Islamic terrorist and also Arab reaction to the election is a worthy one, we need not take our cues from the soon-to-be extinct Times.

My understanding is that Jesus's enemies responded none-too-kindly to his words of peace and love.
That was because, of course, they weren't followers of his teachings. It takes two people to not make war and make love.
Anyway, the President swears on the bible to uphold and defend the Constitution. He doesn't swear on a constitution to uphold and defend the bible.
We know all this but I guess people need reminding more than they need being informed.

A security briefing will not change someone's lifelong political philosophy.
Different human minds have a terrific propensity to rationalize the same information in different ways.
So let us all beat our swords into plowshares, our M-1's and M-2's into farm tractors and wage a peace that will make the whole world want a Coke. Or something like that.

He got his "security clearance" from the 52% of voting Americans. That is all it takes for someone who associates with known terrorists to get to see highly classified "President's Eyes Only" data.

The MSM destroyed two middle-class, caucasian Americans - Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber.
Why? Because they both had the potential to weaken and/or defeat the Messiah with a Thin Resume.
We are indeed at a turning point in this country. We now have rule by the minorities - blacks, illegal amigos, and Mohammadens. Rule by the children - college kids and media brats who look up with glassy-eyed reverence to The One.
The government and the media have merged into one: the government-media complex which "puts out" press reports on how the Oba-messiah will "fix" the economy and give "tax cuts" to millions of adoring voters who don't actually pay federal income tax. Interesting.
Universal health insurance. Universal, mandatory pre-school. Civilian national security force.

I say American conservatives/traditionalists work to destroy this Saul Alinksy social agitator (really just a smooth talking version of Jesse and Sharpton). Let's get to work to mock The One, show him no respect, work to destroy his presidency. Let's start.

Currently on televsion's Home Shopping Channel, they are selling B. Hussein commemerative coins, with His Royal Majesty's likeness sharing the coin with George Washington.
Like I said the other day, he will become the greatest president, the greatest American in history. Martin L. King and Barry Hussein will be the two greatest Americans - taught to every American schoolchild.

I am getting mixed signals on the issue. On one hand I expected Obama to be popular in the muslim world but his 1st hire was Zionist Rahm Emanuel who actually volunteered for the Israeli Defense Forces during the Gulf War and his father was a member of Irgun.

I'm sure the One will choose a Koran not a bible. Just to stick it to America.
And ... no matter how weak he is, weakness just attracts more attacks.
Unless he converts by force everyone in America to Islam and makes Saudi Sharia the law of the land, we will continue to be attacked.
Not the least of which is that attacking and killing lots of Americans is the proven way for Jihadi leaders to get lots of men and money. So unless Obama is prepared (he is not, he hates America) to be ruthless like Putin in the defense of his nation, we will see far worse than 9/11. FAR far worse.
And it's all Obama's fault.
