Condoleezza Rice to visit Libya
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will visit Libya. She will be the first American Secretary of State to visit that country since 1953. Since nobody is paying attention, it is fair to wonder whether there is more to this meeting than a photo opportunity.

, atRice is a bit too accomodating of Muslim governments (all of whom are big-time terror supporters) for me to be happy about this. I think she and the State Department have been captured by these smooth-talking terror-mongers.

Eh.
Kadhaffi (no idea how we're supposed to spell his name this month) did bend over backwards to end their nuclear program after the Iraq invasion, and far more importantly, blew the lid off of A.Q. Khan.
We can throw him a bone on the way out -- and who knows, perhaps he has something more to offer?

As a cabinet official, Rice takes her orders from the President. Rest assured that her stances are approved.
, atTo hear John Bolton tell it, what the President orders and what the State Department does are not necessarily in sync.
