My reaction to this video, given my small town Connecticut origins: it rocks!
When I was growing up in my small town in Connecticut, similar in size to Cornwall, I couldn't wait to get out: hicksville, provincial, blah; you know the drill.
I later realized that my small hometown had some rather unique attributes. Such as my growing up with both descendants of in-town Revolutionary War heroes and refugees from Mao and Stalin. Mostly good old boys, mostly non-WASP. While the town was small, it was anything but homogeneous, mirroring the variety of America. There is truly no place like it. Not to mention the beauty of the land.
BTW, the video incorrectly stated that Litchfield County was in the NE corner of Connecticut: NW is correct.
