That slow-melting Arctic ice
Anthony Watts notes that the sea ice in the Arctic has failed to melt on schedule almost from the very moment that the National Snow and Ice Data Center worried about a record-setting melt. "Nature is a kick in the pants, isn’t she?"
Of course, we who gloat are at similar risk. The Arctic sea ice does not reach its low point until late September, so there is plenty of time for melting to accelerate.

This would all be easier to make sense of if the earth would just go ahead and warm.
