Another climate model failure

Monaghan and his team found that while climate models projected temperature increases of 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.75 degrees Celsius) over the past century, temperatures were observed to have risen by only 0.4 F (0.2 C). ”This is showing us that, over the past century, most of Antarctica has not undergone the fairly dramatic warming that has affected the rest of the globe,” Monaghan said. The gap between prediction and reality seemed to be caused by the models overestimating the amount of water vapor in the Antarctic atmosphere.“
More interestingly, the temperature in Antarctica seems to have declined in the last thirty years, the period of warming elsewhere. There are implications for sea levels, too -- the Seychelles may not be in as much trouble as Al Gore

I think you mean the Maldives, comprised of 26 atolls and almost 1,200 islets, none of which have any significant elevation.
The Seychelles are 1,300+ miles southwest of the Maldives, and are comprised of 42 granitic islands. The main island of Mahe has mountains with over 2,000 feet of elevation, so if/when the seas rise in the future, the people in Victoria will be able to move to higher ground!
Both spots have become quite popular with Europeans as vacation spots and have numerous high end resorts and spas. The sailing around the Seychelles is supposed to be spectacular, and there are bareboat and crewed charters available.

It really doesn't matter. If you remember the hype from the Gorical and his priests, even New York was to be flooded with the rising waters.
The whole climate change idea is another method to graze off of the working class.
There is no Global Climate change crisis when conferences are held in Bali.

I see where AL GORE has claimed that the cyclone that hit burma was becuase of global warming WHAT A LYING JERK THIS MAN HAS ABSOLUTLY NO SHAME WHEN IT COMES TO EXPLIOTING A TRAGIC EVENT LIKE THIS HE SHOULD BE SENT TO THE SPICE MINES OF KESSEL or to the penal planet og ELBA II
