Ann Coulter's gonna get yelled at again
Everybody dive for cover! Ann has done gone and compared Barack Obama's Dreams From My Father to Mein Kampf. I have not read either book so I do not know whether the comparison is even remotely apt, but I'm going to climb out on a limb and say that most of the people who will denounce Ann for this particular outrage also have not read either book.

The woman is clearly a KGB Service A plant created for the purpose of discrediting "reactionary" elements in the domestic politics of the Main Enemy.

Great article. Wanting to punch a guy for empathy is nuts. Obama needs to get a life. His race consumes him.
, atTH, I read her article today and having listened to both of Obama's books, there was nothing that she said that was "out-of-bounds." Just so you know on the audio, he reads both books. Furthermore, the one point I could not get past as I was listening to the Audacity of Hope, was how self-consumed he was. This guy has written two books about himself and he has not done a friggin' thing! One more point about the books, is that to hear Obama in his own words talk about his regular drug use and then here him frequently attempting to drop the "F-bomb"; he seems to be working too hard for his street cred. In any event, none of it is even close to what we should expect from a future President.

Obama's problem is that he thought that he would never be more than a South Side machine hack. He wrote his books with that mindset. Who knows whether any of it is true.
I know! Let's ask his grandmother!

Come on TH, you know full well that Ann was just using that well worn literary technique called hyperbole. Obama's own words are damning enough without the Mein Kampf comparison, but damn, Ann sure knows how to get the reader's attention.

Ann is a magician she turns leftys and some otherwise sane, yet somewhat girly-boy conservatives........ into a never ending parade of clowns whom she aptly points out are about the business of practicing really maudlin kabuki theater....they become just 'oh so offended' when annie twists their undies...bwahahaha priceless!
i look foward to the sidesplitting fun every time this happens.... ann has made millions from these hapless numbskulls...while exposing them for the frauds they are..its PERFECT.

No, she isn't. Over here on the left, we just see her as a pathetic has-been shouting, "Why aren't you paying attention to me anymore?" This just seems like a Godwin's Law Hail Mary thrown in the forlorn hope that it will get her back into the public eye. I don't know about other lefties, but I sure don't intend to help her do that.

Ms. Coulter is the reigning champ of Conversational Terrorism and multiple variations of Ad Hominem attacks. Folks who are able to string three sentences together without an invective have devised the Schopenhauer_ing Ann Coulter game. The game is simple, yet entertaining and intellectually stimulating. One takes one of her posts, and parses the sentences (deconstruction is not necessary). Points are awarded by identification of the classification of each sentence.
Beginning players usually fallow Van Druff rules, while more advanced players adhere to Paul Graham rules. In case of controversy in scoring between participants, strict constructionist judges render their judgment according to the Paul Graham rules, often having to deeply dwell into the various sub classifications posted in the discussion section of the original Declaration of Rules.

"Has anybody read this book? Inasmuch as the book reveals Obama to be a flabbergasting lunatic, I gather the answer is no. Obama is about to be our next president: You might want to take a peek. If only people had read "Mein Kampf" ..."
This statement does not compare the two books. What it does say is we should take Obama's book as seriously as we should have taken Mein Kampf.
Get the book from a library.
