The Obama presser
Ed Morrissey, now at Hot Air, compares Barack Obama's difficult press conference yesterday with John McCain's. I rather liked the quip in bold face:
Compare this to the press conference John McCain held after the New York Times smeared him by accusing him of having a sexual affair with a lobbyist. Not only did McCain — whose temper has its own zip code, according to some Capitol Hill staffers — give a lengthy and reserved statement, but then stood at the podium until the reporters ran out of questions. In fact, at the end, McCain had to ask twice whether anyone had anything else to ask him before leaving the podium.
By my count, McCain answered 36 questions in this press conference. How many did Obama take before walking off in a huff?
Did he say "my friend" a lot? That's how you know McCain is pissed.
Anyway, the pressure of these low-grade "parsing" questions over NAFTA and RezkoGate is causing Obama to sound and act much more like the lawyer he is.

I have heard about McCain's temper for years from bureaucrats on Capitol Hill. His campaign staff should exploit his anger with an ad slogan, "McCain Cares." Heck, most of the people I know are always pissed off at the federal government regardless of the party in power.
Interestingly, three of my business acquaintances who were Obama supporters decided independently last weekend to support McCain in the general election.

I think McCain really should have answered "I wish". A joke on his age, and an end to the story.
