Colors
Along with a few small revisions that should allow pages to load more quickly, I've tweaked the color scheme to make it even more garish, but also more internally consistent. Since we aim to please, any reactions one way or another are, of course, welcome.
UPDATE: So around noon EDT on Sunday I changed the background color of the description from a very bright yellow to "gold," which is certainly truer to the Hawkeye color in any case. What say you now? Bear in mind that I am colorblind, so I need all the help I can get.

Yuck on the yellow! Do you have to keep it?

How about a couple of nice throw pillows and a sofa bed? Lots of guests in your house at all hours of the day and night...

The yellow is an important part of TigerHawk color scheme, hearkening as it does to the Hawkeyes. However, I can certainly go with a "golder" yellow. I'll tweak some more.
, atI have a dial up connection. Broadband might be available in my rural area by Autumn. This site used to load so slowly for me that I only visited infrequently, even though I have always liked it. I don't care what colors you decorate your blog with. I am here for the content and exchange of ideas. Thanks for speeding up the page loading.

The yellow would not look good on Hawkeye sports paraphernalia. I think they use a much more muted golden color.
, atThe page loads significantly faster, which is a very nice improvement. Thanks.

Couldn't past an authentic logo here, but I think you've got it.
, atThe hawkeye colors are actually black and old gold. So, gold is certainly the way to go.

A little loud, but the page loads a lot faster.

Well, "loud" is part of the TigerHawk image, so we don't want to change that. I mean, when the colors you have to work with are orange and yellow or, I mean, gold.

Ah, Harvest Gold. I feel like I'm back in the old trailer house :)
