What do Alan Greenspan and Milton Friedman have in common?
Alan Greenspan and Milton Friedman have many things in common, actually, but among them is that their books will be rendered into Arabic under a new Abu Dhabi initiative to translate 100 important Western books a year. That we are more than six years after September 11 and only now somebody is translating Friedman's disruptive classic Free to Choose into Arabic is at least some evidence that the United States has not fought the ideological war with either energy or creativity.
