Succession trouble

In all the discussion about Slick Willie's long march back, I haven't seen anybody make the obvious point that Bill doesn't like being overshadowed by the new alpha male of the Democratic Party. He's cooler, he's better looking, he's younger. Man, he could tear it up if he was President.

Out with the old boss...

Watching the Dems campaign over
the last couple of weeks has been disheartening in the extreme. Just when I had become reconciled to the idea that Hillary would at least keep up the battle against jihad, and was therefore at least tolerable, the Obama takedown began. It was so reminiscent of all the old-style Clinton political battles that it woke me up. As Hitchens said the other day, does anyone really want this dysfunctional hillbilly family back in the White House? With their side business deals, their pardons, their personal lives on parade etc etc. Not me.

Waiting for a smart operator to step up... the quasi republican independent, like Bloomberg. Walk into the mix late, fund a 3rd party run by Obama if he doesn't get the nod and doesn't want to stand down to that witch.

Definitely splits the vote, which is good for anyone running as a Republican, and it'd be great to show us all what Dems are really about.

Obama's going to pull the lion's share of the black vote, and the Clinton's need it to win.

yeah some of the pundits have been making this comment.

it may also be why barack can't restrain himself from responding - his own alpha-ness under attack.
