Paul Krugman: Predicting ten of the last zero recessions
Paul Krugman has been predicting hard economic times since virtually the beginning of the Bush administration. Eventually, like any broken clock, Krugman may be right, but so far his accomplishments as an academic economist have not, er, predicted his accomplishments as a forecaster.
The interesting question will be whether he becomes palpably more optimistic in the event the Democrats win the White House in November.
OK, that question is actually not really very interesting. Good point.
