Right-wing news of the day
This has to be the right-wing headline of the day:
Snow fell on Baghdad on Friday for the first time in memory, and delighted residents declared it an omen of peace.
So, this story is bound to enrage both the doves and the climate-change activists. Of course, the two groups almost perfectly overlap, so maybe the same people will just be doubly mad.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yet it was 73 in Washington, in January, two days ago (60 today). Sometimes, Tigerhawk, snow is just friggin' snow. But I'll keep looking for signs of The Rapture or the death of Al Franken, etc. I swear.

And sometimes a hurricane is just a freaking hurricane.
But not Katrina! It was a sign of the global catastrophe to come!
Right?
... just a freaking hurricane?!
No, man, that was President Bush's fault, in a sinister plot to undermine honest black folk in Louisiana. Those criminals in the aftermath were clearly planted.
Mayor Nagan for President, Chambers for Veep.
But the snow in Iraq was a joint conspiracy by Bush, Cheney and Rove, the axis of evil. The plan was to discredit the Goracle for having won the popular vote in 2000.
, atAL GORE and the wackos from GREENPEACE will blame this on GLOBAL WARMING

Tigerhawk,
You've said that you believe that climate change is here and that man likely has a part in it, yet you continue to belittle the very ideas you espouse. For what? To feed these science-denying commenters?
Snow an omen of peace. Lord let's hope so. As one of the "doves" who's supposed to get "enraged", I hope I don't disappoint your mischaracterizing sensibilities.
Where's the integrity, dude?

Gordon,
TigerHawk's article doesn't have anything to do with global warming or 'integrity' issues. His comment was about the headline of the article, nothing more, and he was 100% correct in his assessment. A headline like that is sure to gall both the warmerers and the peaceniks.
But as far as you go...
"To feed these science-denying commenters?"
Bwah-hah!
NASA says the earth hasn't warmed a smidge in over a decade.
You wouldn't want to deny the science, now, would you?
