Debate linkage
I saw part of the Republican debate last night, and all of the Democratic. Stephen Green's review is quite good and I agree with virtually all of it, including his props for Charlie Gibson -- who was the best debate moderator I have seen this year by a long shot -- and this sanguinary metaphor:The Republican side looks messier than a ten-car pile-up in the parking lot of a health clinic for hemophiliacs.
For a leftier take see Josh Marshall, who seems to like John Edwards' emotionalism just about as much as it turns me off. To each his own, I suppose.
