An autistic kid gets his shot to play on the high school team. Maximally heartwarming, and you would not have believed it if Hollywood had made it up.

TH - this story is almost two years old. As a matter of fact, this boy was a guest of President Bush's at the State of the Union last year. He was invited to the SuperBow and the NCAA hoop championships.

OK. I've seen it before too. However, does it hurt to see an uplifting story like this - especially during this season? I think not.

God bless this young man. I hope that this even provided him with a new level of self esteem.
