In Texas, at least, it is spring
Miss Ladybug, one of our regular commenters, has captured some beautiful pictures of Texas Bluebonnets. They are not too different from the "bluebells" that grace the 'Villain's property in Virginia this time of year. From April 2003:

Hey, thanks for posting the bluebells, an essential spring rite for me. I got to walk them two weeks ago when they were just emerging, but haven't seen them in full glory. I hope to get out there this weekend and see them before they fade.
, atIt's a very cool April in Texas too. Here in Dallas we had snow flurries on Easter Saturday (April 7), which is the latest snow I can remember.

I went out to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center on the 4th, before that cold front arrived. It was cold here on Easter, too. Getting April showers today.
