GOP straw poll for the taking
John Hawkins is conducting an interesting straw poll for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination. The poll asks that respondents estimate their own relative conservativism. While the numerical weightings are open only to self-described Republicans (ranging from the famous "RINOs" to "ultraconservative"), respondents can also designate themselves as a "lefty troll." I rated my relative conservativism as a "5" on the standard "1-10" scale, but that puts me substantially to the left of most of the people who have taken the poll to date. Maybe that's because only people who want right wing news read Right Wing News. Anyway, click on over and add your voice.
