Wednesday evening eagle blogging

Why am I posting eagle photos this evening? I just watched the feel-good POW rescue flick Uncommon Valor. Made me think of eagles.

And to think that if we'd listened to Ben Franklin, our national symbol could have been the Wild Turkey (100 proof, natch).
