Good News From Iraq
from Gatewaypundit. Good anecdotal evidence that significant local leaders want to preserve and strengthen the Iraqi central government, support the Iraqi army and repress sectarian strife. Part of the long struggle.
As an aside, this is also very good news in building up a countervailing regional force to Iran. The stronger Iraq's democracy becomes, the greater threat she poses to Iran's mullahs.

Remember, however, that the greater threat Iraq poses to Iran the more incentive Iran has to do something about it.
Not that they aren't already.
