Defending the West

While these differences have long been obvious to some, received wisdom in the West has clung to the hope that the Muslim world would leave us alone if only Western foreign policy was less intrusive. Well, a couple of Danish political artists have unwittingly shown us how silly we have been to think that the Rushdie fatwa was some sort of aberration. As I wrote earlier today, it isn't as though we haven't been warned.
