Burned alive for "throwing lemon"

I would say that this story tends to refute the theory that women are inherently non-violent:
Hyderabad: Police yesterday arrested 67 women from a village in Andhra Pradesh's Mahabubnagar district on charges of burning alive a barber who was suspected of practising black magic.

The women had attacked 35-year-old Parvathalu in his shop and burnt him to death on Tuesday as he was allegedly responsible for the death of a villager through black magic....

Flames soon engulfed the shop and the barber died on the spot. Fearing a similar attack on her house, Parvathalu's wife fled the village.

Police said the women told them that the barber was seen throwing lemon and other material generally used in the black magic. "He was blamed for the death of 35 people in the village during the past year," a police official said.

Burned alive for "throwing lemon." What if they had caught him with eye of newt?

I just posted a comment, and it went poof. Darn. I'm sure it was brilliant, but now I must wash my paw and regroup. I hate it when that happens
